Our home
The Emmaus Hampshire Community provides formerly homeless people with a supportive environment in which to live, work and rebuild their lives. Companions, as residents are known, are given the support they need to enable them to regain control over their own lives and to help those less fortunate than themselves.
We accept donations of good quality, second-hand furniture and household goods for resale in our shops. The income generated will support the Community and, in time, others in greater need.
Emmaus Communities become self-supporting after a 2-3 year period. While we have now achieved our original fundraising target, we are still appealing to people to be become Friends by giving a regular donation to help us plan ahead with confidence in our early years.

At the Emmaus Hampshire Community we are committed to helping those less fortunate than ourselves - whether it's gifts of furniture or a helping hand to needy individuals and groups.
